Journalism
Portfolio

I began my journalistic writing journey in my sophomore year of high school when I joined my high school's newspaper halfway through the year as a sports staff writer. I then became the Sports Editor during the first semester of my Junior year and was the World News Editor for the second semester. I then became the Editor-in-Chief during my Senior year. During my time in my school's journalism program, I have written for many different beats ranging from breaking news, politics, sports, and movie reviews. I've worked solo and completed collaborative projects allowing me to work on developing my leadership, writing, and editing skills solo and when challenged with working with others on singular pieces. In addition to writing for my school, I also write and research for the publication iFeminist.org and participated in journalism programs with high school students at Stanford, and Yale University. I hope to further my journalistic ambitions throughout college and write for various publications in the future.
